Are you a seasoned Safety and Wellbeing Leader who is truly passionate about improving safety, mental health and wellbeing outcomes to make a difference in the lives of Australian people? If this has caught your attention, then we would love to hear from you as we have a wonderful opportunity to take on the role as the Head of Safety and Wellbeing.
Reporting to the Head of HR you will develop and execute the Safety and Wellbeing strategy that aligns seamlessly with our overall business strategy and strategic plan. You will support Executive and Senior Leaders with data-driven recommendations to promote a healthy and safe working environment.
To be successful in this role, you must understand organisational priorities and translate them into high impact work. This role will lead, develop and guide three direct reports.
Your background
• Proven strategic Safety and Wellbeing leadership skills, in a complex setting with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
• The ability to partner strategically with senior leaders within the bank, providing advice, direction, and guidance.
• You will have a solution focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions
• Expertise in reporting on Safety and Wellbeing at board level, providing data analytics, insight, and analysis, recognising trends and recommending a way forward.
• Experience in the development of strategic plans
• A track record of successfully leading Safety and Wellbeing teams
