The Position
As the Head of Health Safety and Wellbeing you will be focused on developing, leading and driving the organisation’s Safety and Wellbeing strategy and activities to ensure all employees and customers are in a safe and healthy environment. Your impact will be pivotal, steering the organisation towards a culture that prioritises top-notch safety standards through adept coaching and development across all levels of the organisation. Collaborating closely with various business units, your mission is to cultivate a culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and best practices.
Beyond this, your role extends to fostering the capabilities of managers and team members, ensuring the seamless integration of the health, Safety and Wellbeing management systems across all work domains. This position places change management at its core, requiring an individual with both resilience and inspiration.

Key Requirements:
- Possession of a degree or relevant qualification in Health, Safety & Wellbeing or similar
- Several years of experience in a similar intricate, multi-disciplinary role at a senior level.
- A background in retail / FMCG or similar will be advantageous.
- A genuine passion for fostering positive change in mental health and Wellbeing.
- Expert knowledge of contemporary safety issues and best practices, coupled with a deep understanding of the statutory and regulatory framework governing safety, including workplace legislation.
