AddressThe Brisbane Lions is looking to recruit a highly motivated and engaging professional as the Head of Sales, to join the team at Brighton Homes Arena.
Our Head of Sales will lead the management of the sales team and will play a key role in the acquisition of new sponsors, signage and digital sales, and corporate hospitality sales.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Develop and implement sponsorship/media sales acquisition strategies in line with the Club’s objectives and revenue targets.
- Prospecting for new business and developing proposals and pipelines.
- Identifying opportunities to derive incremental income from existing sponsors.
- Manage the full operational delivery and sales strategies of the corporate sales program, including; management of accounts and day to day operations
- Implementing new corporate experiences
- Establish and deliver the Lions Connect & B2B strategy alongside the Partnerships Team to assist in delivering new revenues to the Brisbane Lions
About You
- Extensive experience in sales, business development and/or account management
- Experience in leading a high performing team
- Knowledge and understanding of the sporting business environment
- Ability to build excellent relationships with client and stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to be proactive and innovative
- Experience working in a high pressure, deadline driven environment
- The ability to operate autonomously and within a team environment
- Ability to work flexible hours in line with operational requirements
