A commercial joinery manufacturing and installation business is looking for an experienced Head Sales Agent / Business Development Manager to join the team.
This is a newly created division for the business, manufacturing commercial lockers and quality made locks to the industry. As the only distributor of these locks, you will be able to hit the ground running with little market competition.
Head office is based in Sydney - for the first 6 months you will work on the road and from home, a new QLD based office is due to be set up within the next 6 months!
Your main role and responsibilities:
- Business Development is going to be a fundamental part of this role.
- Work with both new and existing clients (some warm leads provided)
- Work on identifying new opportunities
- Achieve KPI's
- Manage and maintain the CRM to ensure no opportunities are missed.
- Attending trade shows throughout QLD and NSW.
- Currently a massive factory/ warehouse based in Sydney. This is a new venture into the QLD market.
- Experience and a proven track record in sales and business development.
- Be well-presented and have a proactive and positive nature.
- Be interested and confident in starting work and developing a completely new division.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer first focus
- You have high-level service standards
- Be well presented and confident.
- Be open and willing to travel throughout QLD, visiting with customers and attending trade shows.
- Be incredibly organised and self managed.
NOTE: Salary will be discussed with the candidate and based largely on experience however, will include a Base + Un-capped commission (based on Lock Sales) + Super - You will also be provided with a Phone, Laptop and either a car or car allowance.
