To help turbo-charge this growth, the CEO/Founder is looking for a Head of Sales and Marketing to be a key member of the al.ive executive leadership team.
The Head of Sales & Marketing has responsibility for the brand growth and sales achievement across consumer, retail trade and corporate market channels and is responsible for driving and optimising results through all stages of the purchase funnel.
They will oversee the Marketing Manager, Design Manager, Sales Manager (Key Accounts), Sales Support Manager and Sales distribution field team.
The al.ive Head of Sales & Marketing is:
- Hands-on and highly data and systems competent to immerse themselves in the detail while being able to switch seamlessly to the big picture.
- Highly practiced in quickly developing deep and accurate customer insights and bringing a creative approach to problem solving and strategic thinking which translates into impactful, measurable and accountable strategies.
- Expert at leading a cross-functional and motivated team and instilling best practice customer acquisition, engagement, category management and CRM for continuous improvement in revenue, profit and impact.
You will be someone who can draw on your vast experience, entrepreneurial and future-focused mindset and unparalleled energy to drive ambitious and sustainable business growth every day as a key business partner to the CEO and leadership team colleagues.
You will be a harmonious operator that can integrate the essential sales and marketing functions while managing and executing business wide projects seamlessly with a steady force, cadence, and consistency.
To be successful in this position you will:
- Have 7+ years’ experience in a fast paced consumer/retail/FMCG environment with a strength in sales and marketing
- Have prior exposure to trade or distributor relationships
- Be experienced in achieving retail and ecommerce sales targets
- Be both hands on and have the ability to think strategically
- A relationship builder and inspiring leader
- Energetic and positive
- Passionate about working in a business which has, and is continuing, to grow quickly.
