About the Role
The Technology and Innovation (T&I) group is responsible for developing and managing solutions throughout their lifecycle, aligning customer needs with business objectives, and driving continuous performance and innovation in market.
The Head of Strategic Portfolio- Technology Services is accountable for leading NEC Australia's IT Professional Services and Managed Services solutions and offerings including setting the strategy, roadmaps, managing portfolio lifecycle, services catalogue, GTM and optimizing performance and profitability in market.
Leading a high performing team of portfolio managers and subject matter experts who set direction, provide thought leadership, and enable NEC teams to effectively sell and deliver high value, high margin IT Professional Services and Managed Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and own portfolios vision, plan and roadmaps and clearly articulate those across the business.
- Manage portfolio lifecycle, from introduction to exit, creating repeatable and profitable solutions and offerings. Including development of investment case for introduction and onboarding of new solutions.
- Develop and maintain a service catalogue that sales teams are enabled to sell and delivery teams are capable of delivering.
- Own overall financial performance of the portfolio and actively work to optimise profitability and value to customers.
- Develop competitive offerings- understand competitive landscape, actively identify market trends and opportunities, and adapt NECA offerings based on market and customer feedback.
- Develop 'practice' based offerings and expertise- define the services areas NECA should invest in, develop capabilities and drive the partnering strategy and execution for those practices.
- Lead Go-to-Market execution- define GTM approach, articulate customer value propositions and messaging and enable sales and marketing to sell and promote the offerings in market.
- Drive innovation and thought leadership- evangelise NEC propositions in market, partner effectively internally and externally to position NEC as a market leader.
- Financial management of the relevant business units in terms of budget allocation, forecasting, expense control.
- Managing risk and compliance to all global requirement for their relevant area, enforcing ethical and sustainable business practices across their teams and business.
- Creating a positive work culture and increasing the level of organisational capability through effective recruitment, training, coaching, counselling, workforce planning, performance management and leadership development, encouraging diversity, respect and cohesiveness.
