ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Service Manger to manage and support our team of Field Service Technicians in Victoria.
We appreciate candidates with diverse industry backgrounds that could enhance our team's collective expertise although possessing experience in the healthcare sector, especially in areas such as Endoscopy or medical equipment servicing would be highly advantageous.
The role will involve managing & supporting the team of Field Service Technicians who are troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing our portfolio of medical equipment such as:
- Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AERs)
- Washer/Disinfectors
- Steam Sterilisers & Low Temperature Sterilisers
- Ultrasonic units
You will oversee the reactive and planned maintenance of our equipment in numerous public and private hospital Central Sterile Supply Departments (CSSD), ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery to minimize downtime.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and support the team of Field Service Technicians
- Foster a positive work environment
- Resource Allocation and Scheduling
- Address escalated customer concerns
- Provide technical support to technicians via remote support and on-site when required
- Monitor KPI's
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Maintaining safe work environments and following safe operational practices
ABOUT YOU:
- Victorian Driver’s license.
- Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
- Current Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of Field Service Technicians
- Capable of analyzing complex issues and providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with customers, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Proficient at managing time efficiently to meet service deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to train and develop your team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and maintaining positive relationships.
- Service and operational experience with tools and related instruments
- PC literate with effective written and verbal skills
- Exhibit a flexible approach to travel and working hours in support of our customer’s operations including after hours phone support when required.
- Ideally a strong understanding of all aspects of the Health care industry and products or services.
- Ideally a Mechanical or Electrical background with a minimum Restricted Electrical License/Disconnect/Reconnect License (or willing to obtain)
