About the role
At Grok Academy, our customers (learners and educators) are at the centre of everything we do. We have an audacious strategy to provide tailored learning experiences and partner with teachers to bring digital technologies education to every classroom in Australia and beyond.
Our Strategy function works across Grok Academy to take our strategy from a page into action. This is not an ivory tower strategy role. You’ll be expected to understand Grok’s key capabilities and products and work. Increasing focus, alignment and innovation and accelerating strategy execution to maximise Grok’s impact on the education ecosystem first and foremost in Australia, but also explore ways we can have global reach.

What you’ll do
- Work with Grok’s Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to take charge of the Grok’s Strategy Acceleration roadmap (3 years), ensuring it aligns with our organisational goals and drive successful implementation of and acceleration of key initiatives.
- Work with Grok’s CSO and leaders across the organisation to maintain awareness of Grok’s strategic priorities, and surface challenges, disconnects, and opportunities quickly with regard to delivering on our strategy.
- Work closely with CEO and CSO to manage the entire life cycle of Grok’s (3 years) strategy initiatives, from ideation through implementation and future enhancements, using insights from other portfolios for continuous improvement.
- Partner with leadership to effectively deliver the annual plan and govern planning processes (Ways of working group initiative, etc)
- Lead change management capability to support the organisation to deliver complex, transformation programs
- Work with CSO and Analytics Leads to build and continuously improve Grok’s analytic insights and modelling capability
- Work closely with CSO and Chief Product Officer (CPO) to ensure product roadmaps align with Groks organisational strategy

The incumbent of this position can be based anywhere in Australia
Travel: Because this may be a remote role, the applicant would need to be prepared to travel. The time spent on travel is estimated to be 30%.
