What you’ll do
As the Head of Technology – Delivery Governance & Technology Investment, you will provide a comprehensive oversight of the technology portfolio function, ensuring effective project delivery and robust governance. You will be responsible for optimising Technology Investments in alignment with the company's objectives.
This role will manage the business of the Technology Group being responsible for giving a holistic view of the Technology portfolio and its strategic objectives and will provide planning, prioritisation, and investment visibility across the portfolio in partnership with portfolio leads from each technology domain.
Responsibilities include driving progress and performance of the Technology function, implementing robust governance activities, and developing technology governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

This position will be responsible for aligning decisions with technology strategy, promoting modern work practices, and implementing contemporary operating models.
What you’ll bring
Extensive experience in large-scale ICT environments
Expert communications (executive & board level) both written (documents & ppt) and spoken.
Capital investment leadership and governance experience.
Demonstrated ability of establishing and enforcing delivery standards, policies, and procedures to ensure the successful execution of Technology projects within Tabcorp.
The ability to lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of Technology solutions aligned with organisational goals, managing the Technology Investment portfolio, and creating compelling business cases for Technology Investments.
Outstanding leadership capabilities with demonstrated skills in leading and mentoring a high-performing team, optimising resource allocation. Leadership responsibilities include being a purpose-led leader, creating a positive team environment, making key decisions aligned with Technology's strategy, championing continuous improvement, and leading teams to implement contemporary operating models.
Technology portfolio management experience including implementing project management methodologies and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into actionable technology plans.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP) and familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.
