The position will lead the Wellbeing and Student Support team to provide support to the 38 schools in the Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW) system of schools, which are located in the Illawarra, Macarthur, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands regions of NSW.This is a significant strategic leadership position and is responsible for supporting schools in areas such as diverse learning, mental health, behaviour support, pastoral care, and social-emotional learning. The position promotes schools as faith-filled, dynamic communities where student wellbeing is understood as a totally integrated aspect that enables successful learning and faith formation outcomes to be realised.As a member of the Improvement, Learning and Wellbeing leadership group, and working in close association with the Deputy Director, the successful candidate will lead a team of education professionals to implement concepts of excellence and rigour in accordance with contemporary evidence based principles for social and emotional Wellbeing and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS).For More Information:CEDoW will be supported in its search for this appointment by the executive search firm Korn Ferry.
