This role sits within the Office of the Archbishop and the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth Administration Centre, leading the People and Culture function in developing and implementing a strategy to create an engaged, person-centric environment in alignment with the organisation values and mission.
As an Executive Team member, the Head of People and Culture plays a pivotal role in building organisational capability and leads and manages a practical People and Culture function to support the management of the employee lifecycle and wellbeing, health and safety framework. The position is instrumental in advocating for organisational culture, values, and behaviours, ensuring they are visible, embedded, and upheld.

1 Located in Perth CBD at Griver House
2 Get involved with work across offices, organisations, agencies and parishes!
3 Lead a small and dedicated team of 5 to foster a contemporary People & Culture vision across the organisation
The applicant must be an experienced HR professional with over 10 years’ experience, and hold a tertiary qualification in HR Management or equivalent. A sound knowledge of employment law, industrial relations and employee relations is essential. They must demonstrate ability to liaise and collaborate with all relevant parties to enable a culture of collaboration across the organisation. They will have a professional demeanour, demonstrated “can-do” attitude and enthusiasm for the work involved in the role. Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills based on a human-centric approach will be required. This role will require excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to analyse complex information and provide clear, relevant and intelligible recommendation. A valid National Police Clearance and current WA Driver’s Licence required.
