About the Projects:
Saipem Australia has been awarded three projects: the Offshore Installation Contract by Chevron Australia for the transportation and installation activities of the Jansz Io development, the Offshore Installation Contract by Woodside for the coating, transportation, and installation of the trunkline, at a maximum water depth of 1400 m, including the fabrication and installation of the line structures and of the pipeline end termination in 950-m water depth and Joint Venture with Clough Group, the Perdaman CERES Project awarded by Perdaman Industries (Chemical & Fertilizers) for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) work for its Urea Project in Karratha, Western Australia.

About the role
Saipem Australia is seeking a professional and dedicated Health and Wellness Coordinator for the projects.
Reporting to the Company Doctor, you will ensure optimum Health management by continuously assessing, monitoring and safeguarding the health of the employees that the resource is in charge of.
The position will initially be a 12-month contract with options to extend. The role will be based at our head office in West Perth with easy access to public transport.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure optimum Health management by continuously assessing, monitoring and safeguarding the health of the employees that the resource is in charge of;
- Coordinate all HLT department related activities onshore in proper implementing of Health Management system;
- Function as the Injury management coordinator and RTW coordinator;
- Organise RTW consultations with occupational physician for employees involved in work related accidents;
- Coordinate rehabilitation programs for employees involved in Rehab programs;
- Coordinate with Employee Assistance Program (EAP) service provider in implementing mental health program for employees;
- Coordinate medevacs onshore with Primary and secondary evacuation hospitals;
- Emergency medical assistance to employees in onshore offices;
- Carry out health promotion activities and corporate Health prevention programs and other health related trainings for the employees;
- Organise Vaccination campaigns with approved centres for the employees;
- Evaluate any existing health risks on the project and monitor the mitigations plans in place based on HRA;
- Support with coordination of preboarding Drug & Alcohol testing with approved service provider;
- Organise timely renewal of MFC as per SAAUS & project Fit to work procedure;
- Administrative jobs including but not limited to compile, generate, and submit predefined reports on various aspects of Health management System as per company standards including monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports;
- Implementing GIPSI at worksite and for work force;
- Maintain contacts with hierarchical superiors and managers of operations in order to plan and implement different Health Initiatives;
- Open communication and reporting to functional manager and Corporate Health.
- Implementation of corporate, project and company documents and contractual requirements; and
- Maintain an Inter-departmental relationship and cooperation with Project QHSE personnel on issues pertaining to Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability
Professional Qualifications
- At least 3 years post degree experience
- Registration with national board for relevant nursing board
- Valid BLS certification (ACLS/ATLS additional advantage); and
- Appropriate work experience in Oil & gas field /offshore / occupational health.
