The job:
We're on the lookout for a Provisional or Junior Psychologist - “Wellness Coordinator” to be the heart of our operation and the “Maitre d” of the house.
In this client facing role, you will be managing the day to day needs of our clients. You will tackle a diverse caseload, providing counselling sessions with our clients as well as managing their appointments and keeping the admin ship sailing smoothly.
But you won't be at it alone – you'll work with a team leader to make sure our clients get the support they need and to help you work towards your full registration, growth and potential.
You’ll have the exciting role of helping make a real difference in our clients' lives with comprehensive mental health care.
What you’ll be doing:
- Keep client appointments running smoothly by managing schedules, following up, and coordinating care.
- Under supervision, you'll provide direct counselling services and psychological support, including assessments and evidence-based interventions.
- You will serve as the initial point of contact for clients
- You will be our go-to person for implementing and operating our Clinical Management System.
- You’ll work with your team leader and other health professionals to create life-changing health outcomes for our clients.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Counselling from an accredited institution.
- Membership with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) or the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience juggling caseloads, admin, and providing counselling sessions with clients in a clinical setting.
