On behalf of our client - Chevron Australia, one of the World’s Leading Integrated Energy Companies, Brunel is presently sourcing an experienced Wells Material Coordinator. This is a 12 month contract located at their ‘state of the art’ Perth CBD premises.
The Wells Material Coordinator is tasked with managing the demand for all Wells related inventory tracked in JDE. Concurrently, you will be in charge of monitoring and optimising the stock of all critical and operational spares needed for ABU Wells Operations.
You will be responsible to ensure the management of all Wells Materials stored at various locations, including Perth Supply Base, Northwest Supply Base, Dampier Supply Base and Business Partner facilities.
Insight into your responsibilities:
- JDE visibility of the quantity and storage location of all inventories owned by Wells, such as OCTG, Large OD tubulars and shoe-tracks, Wellhead systems, Liner Hanger systems, Casing Hangers, Completions Equipment and specialized tooling, Packers, Valves, re-dress kits, Casing Accessories, Casing and Tubing Plugs, Cement Retainers, Cementing equipment (plugs/darts), pup joints, cross overs
- Working in partnership with Engineering and Business Partners
- Collaborate with Wells Engineers and SCM Teams to review all Wells equipment line items
Working in partnership with Contracts and Engineering to understand scope of upcoming projects - Acting as the primary contact and guide for Wells personnel
- Assist the Wells Engineer, QA/QC Coordinator and Business Partners with information on inventory status (PMITPs)
- Assist the SCM Logistics and Wells Teams in generating MEL’s for Wells Projects (Master Equipment Lists)
- Acting as a liaison between ABU Wells and key functional stakeholders
- Assist in the development of Purchase Requisition Templates for one off purchase requirements Communicating and managing the priority/urgency of PRs with SCM Buying Teams
- Working with ABU Freight Forwarding Business Partners to identify and help mitigate import and export issues with Wells materials
- Extensive experience in Materials Coordination preferably in Wells
- Data analytics using MS Excel and Power BI
- Knowledge of JDE and materials management procedures
- Broad understanding of logistical and materials planning processes
- 12 month contract
