About the Role
The Health & Fitness Supervisor leads the Health & Fitness Team in the operation of safe and quality Health and Fitness programs and services, fostering a positive and customer focussed environment that excels in customer service and engagement; increases retention rates and maximises financial returns. The position directly oversees the operations and staffing of Group Fitness, Gym Floor and Personal Training. Keeping up to date with latest trends and developments within the Health and Fitness industry the role plays an important part in providing high quality services that promotes membership growth.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity.
Whilst the position will be based at HBF Arena in Joondalup, mobility may be required between the portfolio of facilities.

About the Person
The successful candidate will have experience in managing multiple operations in a gym setting and be able to successfully navigate a fast-paced environment, communication and building relationships with direct team members, internal stakeholders as well as members will be critical to be successful in this role. Experience in running a group fitness timetable, creating and managing small group style sessions and the capability to deal with customer feedback is desirable. Candidates with Les Mills experience and training, as well as Les Mills contract knowledge will be highly regarded.

Employment Screening
To be eligible for employment with VenuesWest you must have the following at the time of commencement:
- Right to Work in Australia for the duration of the employment contract
- National Police Clearance
- Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003) and Provide CPR (HLTAID001 or equivalent); or capacity to complete within 3 months of commencement.
- Certificate III in Fitness (SIS30315)
- Registered Fitness Professional with Fitness Australia or Aus Active.
- Western Australian Working With Children Check; or capacity to obtain within 1 month of commencement
