Our Wellbeing, Health & Safety team comprises a team of professionals who advise and support our internal businesses in all things health, safety and wellbeing. We strive to empower our leaders and employees to take a proactive approach to the prevention of physical and psychological injury and ill-health with an early intervention and injury management framework to ensure the right support at the right time, blending technical skills and strategy to advise our internal functions and teams with spectacular results. And our team is expanding. We’re looking for a Health Management Consultant with a passion for contemporary health, safety and wellbeing systems and practices, to continuously improve and grow our services and achieve optimal outcomes for our people, within our vast community of solvers.
Use the know-how you've gained in early intervention and return to work to support our people to recover at work. With new problems to solve, you'll have plenty of support and opportunities to grow. We work from anywhere, so your strong communication skills and team ethos will get a workout. You'll learn plenty as you provide professional early intervention, rehabilitation and case management support for people with work and non-work related injury/illness and assists with the development, delivery and implementation of the Health Management program in a workplace that’s human-led and tech-enabled.
As an expert in communication and time management, you’ll solve problems by supporting diverse cases and identifying unique strategies to achieve the best outcomes for all. In our Wellbeing, Health & Safety team, you’ll also:
Provide professional early intervention and case management support for people with work and non-work related injury/illness
Initiate, develop and deliver innovative case management strategies and solutions, tailored to individual and business needs
Collaborate across the WHS team to implement proactive measures to reduce injuries, occupational health issues and associated time off work
Engage and influence stakeholders across business units and where required, externally, to coordinate rehabilitation, return to work and timely reasonable workplace adjustments, including Team Leaders, P&C Partners, Rehabilitation Providers, Treating Practitioners, Insurers and Brokers
Partner with WHS Risk and Compliance, Wellbeing, P&C, and Payroll Teams to ensure risk and hazard management, effective claim management, and premium cost reduction
More About You
Experience in using data and insights to inform injury management and claim strategy and decision making would be advantageous.
Hold a tertiary qualification in allied health or related discipline or have extensive injury management experience in an employer environment.
Hold a Return to Work Coordinator qualification and have well developed MS Office / Google suite skills
High work ethic with high attention to detail, accuracy, excellent time management ability
An ability to adapt well to fast-paced complex environments.
