The position will provide:
·Excellent communication with community, colleagues, volunteers and managers
· Ongoing professional education.
·Assist individuals and/or groups to maintain a healthy lifestyle through delivering planned and appropriate population based Health Promotion action that enhances and enables the physical, social, cultural and psychological wellbeing of the members of the community.
· Provide evidence-based Health Promotion, community and stakeholder awareness raising, skills development and knowledge and develop and implement disease prevention initiatives.
· Increase opportunities for community members and stakeholders to participate in decision making with regard to program development at Beechworth Health Service.
·Planning utilising placed based prevention principles and application of systems thinking to develop solutions improving health and wellbeing outcomes.
· Develop collaborative working relationships
Work with partners to build community level prevention system which supports the health and wellbeing of the local community
