Role Overview:
The Health Promotion Officer will provide leadership in Alpine Health and the community using an integrated approach to enhance the health and well-being of the Alpine community. This position will allow an evidence-based and systems approach to Health Promotion work. And will work in close partnership with key stakeholders and the community on identified priority areas.
Responsibilities:
The Health Promotion Officer maintains the following primary responsibilities:
- Identify priority populations and areas of need
- Plan, deliver and evaluate a collaborative Health Promotion plan
- Support delivery of evidence-based initiatives within the community and workplace
- Work closely with Healthy Communities team members and other Alpine Health staff
- Establish and maintain relationships with key partners including; Alpine Shire Council, Gateway Health, NESAY, NELLEN, Ovens Murray Public Health Unit and the communities of the Alpine Shire
- Establish and maintain relationships with new stakeholders

- Alpine Health comprises three multi-purpose health services across the stunning Alpine Region of Northeast Victoria.
