About the department
The Healthy Communities Unit at Barwon Health leads the delivery of, and supports local Health Promotion action. Using a place based, partnership approach we aim to achieve better and more equitable health and wellbeing outcomes for the community in the Barwon region.
About the role
Barwon Health is currently seeking a Health Promotion Officer to use contemporary Health Promotion practice to plan, implement and evaluate primary prevention initiatives that contribute to improved health outcomes in the community.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional time management skills
Strong interpersonal skills
An understanding of contemporary Health Promotion practice
