Our client is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as a Health & Safety Advisor. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in implementing HSE Strategy, working closely with operational leaders and key stakeholders to promote a proactive HSE culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and reduce risks to support incident and injury elimination;
- Promote activities such as hazard reporting, inspections, and HSE conversations;
- Monitor injury and incident events, ensuring robust investigations and shared learnings;
- Monitor HSE audit outcomes and incident trends;
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with leadership teams and operational leaders;
- Provide guidance on HSE Management Planning, Risk Management and HSE Improvement Planning; and
- Collaborate with HSE team to drive strategic initiatives and influence positive change.
Key requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety;
- Experience in Distribution Centers/Logistics operations;
- In-depth understanding of safety management systems, training frameworks, and relevant legislation;
- Strong technical knowledge of HSE, risk management, workers compensation, and injury management; and
- Expertise in HSE and Injury Management best practices.
