TS Global is a proud Australian owned leading manufacturer of premium quality, innovative conveyor products and market leading polyurethane solutions throughout Australia and overseas.
Due to an increased workload, this position will be responsible for maintaining safety compliance across the Western Australian depot and sites.
KEY DUTIES
- Maintaining safety compliance throughout WA in line with TS Global’s policies and procedures
- Regular visits to mine sites
- Undertake site safety observations and audits
- Ensuring compliance with mine site requirements for all paperwork
- Adhere to safety regulations and legislations
- Assisting with medical processes for new existing workers
- Assist with scheduling and maintaining inductions for workers
- Rolling out internal training packages, policies and procedures to workers
- Update and record worker competencies in internal systems
- Liaise and work with TSG’s QSHE Manager for all Safety and quality matters
- Implement, maintain and enforce policies and procedures to uphold legislation and ensure QHSE compliance
- Support TS Global’s QHSE objectives and targets
- Assist site supervisors in carrying out their duties and roles where required
- Liaise with internal and external staff and companies
- Provide ad-hoc reporting as required
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in a similar position or the drive to pursue a career in safety
- Have experience in the mining industry
- Must have mines site experience with FMG or Rio Tinto, including inductions
- Certificate IV in WHS or working towards these qualifications
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or working towards these qualifications
- Have a good understanding of Western Australia’s mining legislation
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be accountable for your own role and duties
- High level of time management and organisational skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Be a flexible and professional team member
- High level of computer skills with Microsoft packages (word, excel)
- Experience with Sharepoint and site-based inductions highly regarded
- Current driver’s licence
