Who are we looking for?
We have a Parental Leave Cover opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail focused HSE Coordinatorto join our Health, Safety and Environment APAC team. This is a great opportunity to work for a progressive, globally renowned professional services firm, who are committed to continuous improvement in workplace health and safety.
Working directly with the APAC HSE Leader, this role has great variety and will see you:
- Preparation of region HSE performance reporting and support the review of HSE related incidents.
- Assist the team in the delivery of Regional HSE Management Systems and initiatives, as well as coordinating governance activities.
- Monitoring legislative changes, potential emergency response events and provide support to HSE team.
- Maintain prequalification systems and provide support for the bid process to our technical teams when tendering for projects.
- Undertake HSE project reviews of risk management documentation, including contractor management and safety in design.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar administrative/coordination role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications - Word, Excel & Outlook. Experience in reporting platforms such as Power BI is also ideal.
- Possession of a Certificate 4 in HSE is welcomed but not essential, as is knowledge of Work Health and Safety Legislation or principles.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, including sound consultation and negotiation skills.
- The ability to exercise sound judgement and decisiveness, able to identify, analyse and act on information from a range of workplace sources.
- Works well in a team and engages with colleagues across all levels of the organisation.
It is our preference to have the successful candidate commence early-mid May 2024 and we anticipate this cover will be required for a 10-12 month period.
We will consider candidates who can commit to both part-time or full time, but a minimum of three days per week is required.
