The Role:
Tesla is offering an exciting opportunity for an EHS Coordinator to join our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team within the Energy side of our business. This role will provide critical support to our team and projects whilst learning a wide range of project management skills within the energy and construction industries. This is a great opportunity for a junior Project Coordinator looking to develop their knowledge and advance their career in EHS.
This position is based in Adelaide and will require travel (up to 30%) given the geographical reach of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Be a vital Environmental, Health and Safety Team member, supporting the broader Energy team.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and execution of critical local and global business objectives.
- Provide analysis of existing legal and internal requirements alongside efficiency to ensure best practice.
- Provide guidance and assist in developing risk assessments, procedures, work instructions and initiatives driving the simplification and improvement of frontline work.
- Support event analysis, follow-up, management, and process improvement.
- Perform inspections and audits on employees and contractors.
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant field of occupational safety, environmental, project management or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite, including experience with SharePoint.
- Ability to work in a team in an organised and independent manner.
- Bias for action, with the ability to be proactive, creative, and innovative in approaching challenges.
- Proven record of prioritising effectively and handling shifting priorities.
- Detail-driven outlook, with an ability to execute efficiently, accurately and quickly in a fast-moving and dynamic environment.
- A current driver’s license and willingness to obtain a police check and Working with Children’s check.
