HSEQ Manager
Our client is currently recruiting the role of Health & Safety, Environment and Quality Manager (HSEQ). They are particularly keen to hear from experienced applicants with a high level of self-motivation to achieve results in WHS.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on role, working closely with operators, drivers, tradespeople, supervisors, and managers to coordinate the Work Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Control functions of the businesses across multiple sites. This is an integral role reporting to the Group General Manager.
Skills and Experience:
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar HSEQ role within a manufacturing environment.
- Sound knowledge of Work Health & Safety regulations.
- Understanding of Environmental regulations
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility regulations plus experience with managing ISO Management Systems will be highly regarded.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including consultation and negotiation skills.
- Current driver’s licence.
Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate Safety, Chain of Responsibility, Environmental and Quality management systems.
- Drive a safety-first culture and champion safety awareness and compliance across the business.
- Identify emerging trends, best practice and other requirements across HSEQ functions.
- Assist with RTW program and injury management.
- Incident investigation (ICAM).
- Contractor management.
- Coordinate compliance with regulatory requirements, including statutory reporting to regulatory authorities, including SafeWork NSW, NSW EPA.
- Co-ordinate HSEQ training ensuring currency of licencing etc.
- Prepare monthly reporting across HSEQ performance.
