Health & Safety Manager

Sydney Initial 12-month Contract Daily Remuneration    Health & Safety Manager required to assist on-site with the development & implementation of a Safety Strategy within a diverse & exciting precinct.    Responsibilities: Drive and model Safety behaviours around the precinct. Work closely with contractors & consultants on-site.

Monitor and report progress against Safety KPIs Assist in the implementation of all Safety Policies and Procedures. Develop and conduct regular audits. Provide leadership and support to line managers and supervisors.

Ensure that appropriate compliance checks, analysis, and risk assessments, programmed and ad-hoc inspections of all worksites are conducted in an efficient manner.   Plan, develop and deliver safety training as required. Assist managers in the delivery of induction programs for new employees.

Attend internal and committee meetings. Effectively promote, wherever possible an understanding of desired Safety relevant to operational areas.    About you: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline Proven experience working across Construction / Heavy industry projects.
