About The Role

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Injury Management Specialist to join the team who genuinely cares about people and getting them back to work. In this role you will be responsible for end to end injury management for both work and non-work related injuries and illness, ranging from triage of the claim and working with relevant line managers through to facilitate recovery, return to work, redeployment, or separation.
In addition to Injury Management, this role will provide you with the opportunity to take the lead on a range of Health & Wellbeing focused projects in line with the overarching strategy, including psychosocial initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in workers' compensation and injury management via insurer and internally.
- Allied health qualifications (OT, EP, Physio) highly regarded.
- Understanding and previous experience with Return to Work plans.
- Critical thinker with excellent communication skills.
- Compassion, understanding and empathy when dealing with affected workers.
