About the role
Based across the Sydney Metro area, we are seeking Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanics for full time work. The work will be spread across various sites including Artarmon, Ryde, Auburn, Erskine Park and Belrose.
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled corrective and preventative maintenance services
- Work on trucks, trailers and heavy mobile equipment
- Perform fault diagnostics to detect mechanical and electrical faults
- Test drive and/or operate equipment to ensure repair has been completed correctly
- Ensure all equipment is safe to use and stored correctly
- Repair or replace defective parts on all heavy vehicles and equipment
About you
- Certificate IV in Engineering – Automotive Mechanical
- HR Licence
- LF Forklift Licence
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
- Willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
Waste industry experience is not essential.
