The Role
Toll People are currently seeking skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team FIFO to Port Hedland. These are full-time positions with NEW RATES, fantastic benefits, and the opportunity to work on one of the most extensive logistics fleets in the country.
What Does a Day as a Toll Diesel Mechanic Look Like?
- Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on Heavy Diesel machinery, including American and European trucks and trailers
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems
- Ordering and replacing parts as needed
- Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team members

Our Key Skills and Experience
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or similar
- Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
- Demonstrated experience working on Heavy Diesel machinery
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to workplace safety
