Western Maze WA PTY LTD is a family owned and operated company based in Maddington WA. We service the local councils with Verge Collections, Storm Water Drainage and Container Transport threw out the metro area.
We currently have a position for a trade qualified Diesel Mechanic within the small workshop servicing and maintaining our fleet of approx 35 rear load compactors, bobcats, street sweepers, prime movers and trailers.
The Responsibilities
- Servicing for all fleet, including trucks, Side Loaders, Road Sweepers, Rubbish compactors, trailers, dolly's, hydraulics and motor vehicles in accordance with the maintenance procedure and workshop manual
- Fault detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete all necessary fleet records as per required standards
- Maintain service records
- Manage and adapt work load in accordance with equipment demand
- Keep work area and tools clean and tidy
- Maintain communication with management at all times
- Able to schedule fleet repairs as needed.
The Candidate
- Experience in Heavy Vehicles maintenance and repairs
- Experience in management of TA's and Apprentices
- Must be able to time manage and prioritise repairs
- Welding and hydraulic experience an advantage
- Forklift licence (preference)
- Must have a current C class drivers licence (preference for a HR licence)
- Excellent written & verbal communication skill.
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Must have working rights within Australia
