We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Helpdesk Officer to join the team for an initial 2-month contract and contribute to the to delivering expetional customer support.Job Overview: As a Contract Helpdesk Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations by providing technical support and assistance to the internal teams. You will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.Key Responsibilities: * Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote assistance.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
• Document, track, and monitor support requests to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of knowledge base articles.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues.

Qualifications: * Minimum of 4 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.

• Proficient in troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
