Our Purpose
United for Care offers independent living for members of the community to live in individual apartment accommodation with 24-hour support in our Vertical Villages. The team at United for Care are passionate and dedicated to innovation in the disability sector, with the purpose of improving the quality of life for the vulnerable, and those living with disability.
The Position
The Home and Community Support Manager for our newlycreated Drop-In Support Program is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of this program, ensuring high-quality day care and support for participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Drop in Support Program Management by managing day-to-day operations
- Plan and organise program activities to meet participant needs
- Assess participant needs and create personalised care plans
- Supervise and support the support staff team
- Engage with participants and stakeholders for collaboration and feedback
- Establish and nurture partnerships with community groups for program enhancement
About You
We are seeking someone with a passion, innovative and commitment to promoting positive change.
We are seeking an experienced motivated individual who has:
✅ Proven experience in project and program management, preferably in Drop in Support; home care disability or healthcare services
✅ Understanding of both physical and psychosocial disabilities
✅ Strong networks with community organisations, healthcare providers and other stakeholders to enhance the programs services.
✅ Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to home care services eg: NDIS Standards
✅ Strong leadership and team management skills together with excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal abilities
✅ Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation
✅ A Bachelors degree in Social Work, Nursing, Healthcare Management, Community Services, or other related field (Masters degree preferred)
