An exciting opportunity has arisen at Acacia Living Group for a Home Care Scheduler to join our busy scheduling team in a full-time capacity 7:00am to 3:00pm or 8.00am to 4.00pm.
Experience in a scheduling or rostering position is a must have, preferably in an aged care or health care setting. This role will see you provide scheduling services for Home Care and respite clients across all regions throughout the state all while using your exceptional communication skills to communicate with staff and consumers.
You’ll be surrounded by a friendly and supportive team, with the ability to work from home (once trained and competent in the role but Wednesdays in the office is a must) and the Acacia Living Group offices in Menora.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare and maintain Home Care rosters
- Review and provide information such as hours works and travel kilometres for Payroll processing
- Contact consumers and carers to advise them of staffing and time changes
- Work in conjunction with leaders and the Payroll team to resolve staff queries
- Regular reporting, compliance monitoring and updating staff movements in Carelink.
- Previous scheduling or rostering experience in aged care or health care environment (essential)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- A positive and proactive approach to work
- Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
- Valid working rights
- Current police clearance certificate
- Willingness to obtain Flu Vaccination and COVID-19 vaccinations.
