SalarySupport Workers Needed – Immediate Start
We're seeking a dedicated and caring Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis (starting at $37.45 per hour including super). You'll be working with a young female university student to help them plan and manage their daily routines and workload.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the participant with daily living tasks, breaking them down into manageable steps to promote and facilitate their independence.
- Support the participant in organising their daily schedule and university workload.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum (preferred).
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Strong communication skills, with a focus on active listening and positive reinforcement.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- NDIS Worker Check and First Aid Certificate.
- Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts (flexible scheduling possible).
