As a Home Care Worker, you'll help older Australians maintain their independence and live at home for longer. Your personalised care and empathetic companionship will truly make a positive impact on their lives.
We have multiple Permanent Part Time positions for experienced aged Care Workers available in the Kambah 2902 area.
Your day will look like:
• Domestic Assistance: Cleaning the home of older people so they have a safe and beautiful place to live
• Helping our clients with their shopping and cooking/meal preparation
• Personal care inc getting them up, showered and dressed for the day, medication management, assisting with mobility and therapy goals
• Driving clients to medical appointments or taking them shopping
• Providing social support and community engagement
• Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

What we look for in an Aged Care Worker:
• A big heart, empathy and a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life
• Driver’s licence and a fully insured car
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Current flu vaccine - required from May-September to help protect our clients during the winter months
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Resilience and ability to work independently
• You're available to work at least 3 days – Monday - Friday, we do have some weekend shifts available but we need some availability from you mid-week
