Whether a customer is buying their first or second home, investing in a property, refinancing, building or renovating; you will be there to deliver the right solutions at the right time and trusted to make the experience great for them
Our Home Lending Specialists are the type of people who thrive on creating long-lasting relationships. They know how to ask the right questions to deliver appropriate lending solutions and build trust, confidence and advocacy in every interaction.
More specifically you will
- Provide support and advice to customers to help them achieve their home buying dreams
- Complete first interviews and appointments with prospective home buyers to determine suitable lending solutions, and submitting applications
- Make relevant suggestions to your customers based on the home buying goals they've set
- Provide exceptional service to customers, building trust, confidence and advocacy to help them secure and enhance their financial goals
- Build your personal brand and network in the local community to enhance your credibility
- Develop your business by building and maintaining internal and external referral sources, and seeking external referrals from existing customers
- Contact home buying customers to build rapport, determine their needs and goals, and invite them into the branch for an appointment
- Adhere to the Bank's processes, procedures and Code of Conduct, including accurately reviewing customers' financial positions, completing security checks and ensuring applications comply with our obligations
- Attend regular coaching sessions to develop your lending knowledge and skills, and coaching your branch colleagues on best practice
- Research the broader market, and economic and industry changes affecting customers and the Group
- Use tools to capture customer feedback, and taking action to correct any service breaks and drive improvement
About you
To be successful you will have:
- Experience in a similar Home Lending role from within a bank or mortgage broker environment
- Demonstrated business development success
- A well-developed knowledge of Home Lending products and the current responsible lending legislation
