Our store in Albion features an exclusive range of imported luxury furniture and beautiful designer homewares, along with an extensive range of Australian made sofas, chairs and bedheads.   

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Retail Assistant with product knowledge in furniture and homewares to join our Albion retail team.  Reporting to the Retail Manager, the team delivers an exceptional retail experience to our customers in store and also offering in home decorating and styling services.  This is a casual position offering flexibility which includes Saturdays with no late nights or Sunday trading . 

Duties and responsibilities include: 

• Providing sales advice and product information to customers on our furniture and homewares product range 
• Offering product and styling solutions to customers both instore and in-home. 
• Meeting sales targets and KPI’s 
• Preparing online orders and accessories selections for the design team 
• Building excellent relationships with customers and our design clients
• Ensuring the immaculate presentation and styling of the retail store

About You

You will have experience in furniture and homewares retail sales with a strong customer-centric focus. Ideally, you have completed, or are currently completing a qualification in interior design or decoration. Creative and with a passion for interiors, you understand the value of delivering customer service that exceeds expectation.   

To be a perfect fit for this role, you will be:

• Passionate about interior decorating
• Capable of thriving in a luxury retail environment with excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft suite and POS systems
• Exceptional customer service delivery
• Ability to engage and connect with clients and meet monthly sales targets
• Organised and efficient, with a high priority for accuracy in your work 
• Calm under pressure and comfortable multi-tasking
• Current licence and own vehicle
