About the Opportunity
Bring out your passion for horticulture and become part of the team that transforms your city into a vibrant and wonderful place to visit and live in! As a horticulture tradesperson, you will step into an office unlike any other where you are able to cultivate beauty and shape the landscape of the City!
In these roles you will assist in the development and maintenance of the city’s squares, Park Lands, biodiversity sites, gardens, streetscapes, and associated facilities.
You will be a customer focussed, motivated, and energetic team member, that will work in a multi-disciplined environment, share in the team goals and be responsible for the delivery of high-quality outcomes that contribute towards the Program goals and objectives.
Your day-to-day role will include everything from meticulous turf care to the enchanting world of rose and perennial garden bed maintenance. Whether inspecting playgrounds or identifying and treating weeds, each task offers an opportunity to infuse our city with your expertise and passion for horticulture.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to effectively liaise and engage with members of the public.
- Experience in providing advice and solutions to a range of general horticultural issues.
- Relevant experience in Turf Management, and/or Horticultural maintenance.
- Experience/licensed in the operation of large and minor plant associated with Horticultural maintenance.
- A trade qualification in Horticulture.
