This exciting opportunity is open for career-minded, motivated individuals with a strong work ethic to join the club’s Course Maintenance team. The successful applicant will be involved in all facets of course preparation and presentation for daily member play, leading into and beyond an international event which will showcase the club to the world. Adding to the opportunities, the club are also in the early stages of planning for a course redevelopment which will include the reconstruction of 20 greens and the installation of a new irrigation system. The opportunity to be heavily involved in these works will be a major benefit for anyone who is looking for a challenge which could set you on a path to excel within our industry or any other market within.
The successful applicant will hold a Certificate III in Horticulture or Sports Turf Management and display a willingness to integrate into the strong team culture that exists.
Position Details- National & International Event Preparation.
- New maintenance facility catering for male and female staff members.
- Full time position, early starts, weekend work on a rotational basis and possible mid-week overtime required.
- Competitive pay rate based on qualifications and experience.
- Training offered: Forklift, Chainsaw, Elevated Platform, Chemical, First Aid & other related certificates if required.
- Set up for daily play including mowing, changing holes, raking bunkers, snipping, spraying, tree and vegetation work, irrigation, and general upkeep.
