We're on the lookout for 3 Horticulturists to join our team based at our Pimpama Depot - Gold Coast. If you are a qualified and experienced Horticulturists this could be your opportunity to become part of our team who are dedicated to landscape maintenance and improvements in our parks, open space areas and road reserves.
How you’ll make a difference
You will work as part of a team responsible for maintaining and enhancing parks, landscaped and recreational spaces within the City’s open space regions and road network.
Planting, pruning, mulching, hedging, removing green waste, spraying herbicides/weed removal and operating equipment such as leaf blowers, chainsaws and pole saws.
Demonstrate behaviours that contribute to a positive and successful team.
Follow established work practices and consistently deliver high quality work.
What you bring to your new role
Certificate II or higher in Horticulture/Conservation and Land Care Management/Arboriculture and relevant industry experience.
C Class Drivers Licence.
WHS General Construction White Card.
Be a team player with strong communication skills.
Have a high level of motivation and initiative, with the ability to work unsupervised.
