Adventist Senior Living (ASL) is seeking a Hospitality Services Manager to oversee catering, cleaning and laundry services to our residential aged care facility (RACF) at Alstonville and a retirement village.
The Hospitality Service Team is a small team of dedicated employees who deliver accredited services to the vulnerable elderly in our facility by providing nutritious, tasty and timely meals together with quality cleaning and laundry services to our residents.
The role requires the management of resident expectations, needs, resources, supplies, budgets, equipment together with the delivery and compliance of Hospitality Services. This is achieved through a combination of hands on operational tasks and management/leadership.
A key member of the North Coast leadership team, the role works closely with and reports to the General Manager North Coast.
ABOUT YOU
Ideally, you will have experience leading a Hospitality Service function in a highly regulated industry together with:-
- Trade qualification in commercial cookery
- Current driver’s license.
- Demonstrated experience in menu planning, costing, purchasing and HACCP application.
- Demonstrated experience in a team leadership role and in applying continuous improvement processes to all aspects of Hospitality Services.
- Knowledge of risk management including safe use of chemicals within Hospitality Services environments.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and basic budget and payroll/rostering database tools.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in;

- Decision making and initiating action
- Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
- Interaction and communication with people
