Our approach is simple and drives every decision we make: meeting theneeds of our local community.The North Shore Tavern is seeking an experienced andmotivated Hotel Manager to join our team. As a Hotel Manager, you will beresponsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the tavern, ensuring anexceptional customer experience, and leading a team of hospitalityprofessionals. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of the tavern, including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure the delivery of an exceptional customer experience through friendly and efficient service, cleanliness, and quality products
- Train, supervise and motivate staff to provide excellent service and achieve performance targets
- Manage and monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
- Manage cash handling procedures, including end-of-day reconciliation and banking
- Respond to customer complaints and take appropriate corrective action
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekend, night time and public holidays
What weare looking for:
- Experience in the daily management and operation of a busy restaurant/F&B department
- Strong industry knowledge, particularly in cocktail & beverage trends
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead, motivate and develop a team
- Ability to develop a strong & proactive relationship with the local community
- Ability to drive growth opportunities, activation, and delivery of business objectives
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Responsible Service of Alcohol [RSA] Certification RSG & RMLV
