NEWLY CREATED ROLE
We have an exciting new opportunity, for a hands-on Operations Manager to join and provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the property operation teams, to ensure we achieve the highest quality in standards, service and facilities management.
WHO YOU ARE
Our preferred candidate will have demonstrated experience in hotels and facilities management in a body corporate environment and shall exhibit commercial acumen. You will be an experienced Operations Manager who is driven and willing to provide support and mentorship, to set the highest of standards in all operational aspects. For this role you will need to demonstrate strong people management skills, and the ability to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. To achieve this, excellent interpersonal skills are fundamental; as well as your ability to communicate.
Key responsibilities for this role will include, but not be limited to:
- Supporting the Executive General Manager (EGM) in the operation of the hotel and building facilities including liaising with the Body Corporate Managers and Committees.
- Provide support to the Front Office Managers (FOM’s) to ensure they lead the front-line team in the efficient and effective operations of front office and housekeeping.
- Maintain a current working knowledge of the management agreements (leases and CTS) and to manage the properties in accordance with those agreements,
- Support the EGM in Building Management reports and budget requirements.
- Manage and exceed the property's financial performance as outlined in the “Financial Model/Budget”.
- Ensure cleanliness, presentation, fit-out and the standard of equipment is maintained across the properties.
- To be available for “on-call” periods outside of normal working hours to manage guest service issues and emergencies after hours in cases where immediate action must be taken.
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia
- National Police Check or willing to obtain
- Hold or willing to acquire a valid and current Registration Certificate lodged with the Office of Fair-Trading QLD.
