The Australian Golf Club is a private Member’s Club located in Rosebery. The Club is the oldest Golf Club in Australia, having been originally founded in 1882. The Club prides itself on its history and tradition and expects excellence in service delivery to the Members.
As a team our goal is to provide our Members with an exceptional golfing and hospitality experience, while aiming to provide a collaborative and caring environment for our team members to work in.
The role
We are currently seeking Housekeepers to join our team and help maintain the high standard of service at the Australian Golf Club.
We have a vacancy for a permanent full-time role. Shifts will be spread across weekdays and weekends, and are typically 6 hours in duration, starting from 6am.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Washing and ironing all Food & Beverage Uniforms
- Washing and folding all linen and towels
- Maintaining the tidiness of all Member’s areas and ensuring that all amenities are well stocked
- Performing general top ups of towels, toilet paper, soap, hand cream and other amenities
- Ensuring the Club foyer is well maintained and clean
- The role would be great for someone looking to take ownership of our Housekeeping operations and utilise their experience in a dedicated and engaged team.
About you
Our ideal candidate would take great pride in the work that they do as a Housekeeper, and also have the following skills and qualities:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar housekeeper or cleaner role is essential
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise your own workload
- Effective communication skills
- A great can-do attitude!
