About the Role:
Join our Hospitality Team as a Housekeeper in Residential Aged Care and bring your magic touch of cleaning to brighten residents' days! Keep their environment clean, comfortable, and tidy, ensuring all standards are met. Apply now to make a difference in their lives!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor in delivering outstanding cleaning services.
- Coordinate housekeeping routines to ensure high cleanliness standards.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment properly.
- Adhere to infection control guidelines for cleaning.
- Safely handle chemicals during cleaning tasks.
- Cleaning Services includes:
- Maintain hygiene and tidiness in residents' rooms, laundry, and servery.
- Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Clean metal fixtures.
- Scrub wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
- Wipe down glass surfaces.
- Tidy rooms.
- Wash windows as per schedule.
- Essential: Current DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Essential: Current National Police Clearance.
- Desirable: Experience in aged care, hotel, or health settings.
- Knowledge/experience with commercial cleaning equipment.
- Familiarity with safe chemical handling.
- Understanding of infection control principles.
- Familiarity with cleaning products and methods.
- Strong customer service abilities.
