The role will manage but not limited to:
- 15 rooms AEROTEL Sydney located on the landside of the Airport Plaza Premium Lounge within the AEROTEL Sydney that offers Food & Beverage and Shower Services.
- Contribute to guest satisfaction standards by ensuring that housekeeping services are quickly addressed, and where possible, anticipate individual needs. Ensure the safety and comfort of guests and that any requests for service are handled in a courteous and efficient manner.
What you'll be doing
- Promote the hotel’s quality service standards and ensure that the hotel provides its guests with excellent housekeeping services such as clean room, linen and services.
- Clean assigned guest rooms according to standards established by the hotel. It involves, but not limited to, making the bed, dusting the room and furniture, replenishing guest room and bath supplies, cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming the carpet.
- Whilst cleaning the room, verify that all is in proper condition and order of functioning and reports to Supervisor any items that need repair.
- Manages guest questions, requests in a friendly and caring manner, take appropriate actions or if needed, refer the matters to the relevant team members to assist.
- Write down on their assignment sheets relevant information for record purposes and possible future inquiries. At the end of shift, report special attention guest, unusual situations, incidents that need follow up, to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction.
- Report at once to Supervisor or PIC (person in charge) lost and found items and coordinates when to bring items down.
- Verify the physical status of room and updates Supervisor or PIC of any discrepancies found.
- Provide the turn down service where provided to assigned guest rooms according to standards established by the hotel. It involves, but not limited to, turning down the bed, replenishing guest room and bath supplies and cleaning the bathroom if necessary.
- Cleaning of lounge and hotel public areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping equipment and pantries.
- Keep informed of hotel products and services knowledge in order to answer guest questions.
- Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Job Requirements:
- Fluent in spoken English language and basic writing skill.
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
- Proven competencies to work independently and with little supervision.
- Good planning, organizing, time management skills.

Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary: $21.27 – $48.87 per hour
