Housekeeping Supervisor

Come and work with Majestic Hotels, South Australia's largest boutique, locally owned and operated accommodation group comprising of six properties located throughout Adelaide, North Adelaide and regional South Australia.  .

As the Housekeeping Supervisor you will assist in leading the Housekeeping Department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper to ensure the immaculate presentation of guest rooms, outdoor and public areas. This role is predominantly 50% Supervisor and 50% Room Attendant. This is a diverse and hands on role, which will see you undertaking tasks from assisting with room checking, rosters, ordering and cleaning rooms. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, this role is suited to an enthusiastic and motivated individual with high attention to detail and efficient organisational skills. Duties

• Drive quality standards of cleaning - all areas
• Monitor housekeeping productivity
• Order stock and linen 
• Assist in producing and maintaining the roster 
• Responsible for on-boarding and training of all new employees
• Follow all Loss Prevention procedures 
• Report all maintenance issues
• Ensure compliance with WH&S policies
• Support in the training and development of all staff
• Aid in administration tasks
• Perform Room Attendant duties when not engaged as a Housekeeping Supervisor.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Team Leader
• Strong leadership qualities
• Effective communication skills incorporating a collaborative approach
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail 
• Exceptional time management skills 
• Flexibility to work the required shifts and the ability to step in and assist 
• An attitude of professionalism at all times
• Consistent approach to self-development and continuous improvement
• Ability to address and implement continual improvement of the team
• Experience of working in a high pressure environment 
• High level of personal presentation
• Current licence and own transport essential
• A shared passion and responsibility towards our groups vision and values

Highly desirable

• Proven experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5 star environment
• Senior First Aid Certificate

This is a part-time role working over a 7 day roster with the ability to work extra hours as a Room Attendant.
