It’s the Executive Assistant / Office Coordinator's role to support Visit Sunshine Coast’s activities in leading the tourism industry within the Sunshine Coast – and of course share the sunshine along the way!
We are a passionate team that are driven towards making a difference and are looking for an Executive Assistant / Office Coordinator to work alongside an experienced CEO and accomplished Board of Directors.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the role would suit either an experienced Executive Assistant, or someone early in their career who is comfortable taking charge with a “can-do” attitude that is committed to developing their skills.
About Visit Sunshine Coast (VSC):
We are the official Regional Tourism Organisation for the Sunshine Coast and represent more than 500 tourism industry members with the role to grow the contribution tourism makes to the local economy and community - which at last count was more than $5billion.
Our peak tourism body brings together the Local Government Areas of Sunshine Coast, Noosa and Gympie in developing and delivering marketing campaigns that showcase the destination, as well as support our members with the skills they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Wrangle the CEO’s calendar by scheduling and planning appointments.
- Secretariat responsibilities for the Board of Directors - includes management of agenda, distribution of information packs, minute taking etc.
- Manage reporting across the organisation
- Support the CEO with stakeholder engagement
- Prepare correspondence and communications under the direction of the CEO.
- Maintain the smooth running of the office, from getting in supplies, co-ordinating venders, managing assets and generally ensure everything's humming along nicely
- Be proactive in improving the way things are done within the Office
- Support the team to run events.
- Contribute to implementing a diverse portfolio of programs and services.
Who we are looking for:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in administrative support (or similar)
- Excellent organisational and administration skills.
- A natural communicator
- A go-getter with a “can-do” attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- High attention to detail and commitment to those little things (that really do matter).
- Ability to juggle competing priorities to keep everyone happy!
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills for liaising with stakeholders
- High levels of professional integrity
- A team player who embraces our values of innovate, collaborate and be real!
- Full-time or Part-time position
