Housekeeping Supervisor

Midnight Hotel is seeking a friendly, customer-focused, enthusiastic team player with exceptional housekeeping skills to be the next Housekeeping Supervisorin a Fulltime role.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the overall presentation of the property (guest rooms and public areas) through effective and efficient operations of the Housekeeping Department. This role has a strong focus on the training, developing, and motivating team members, always adhering to the brand standards of the Hotel and Marriott International. Other duties including the scheduling of tasks, rostering, payroll, room inspections, managing lost property, and investigating housekeeping related complaints. The role is also responsible for following all reasonable instructions and providing, courteous, and professional service at all time.

- Availability to work a rotating roster on weekdays as well weekends and Public Holidays commencing as early as 8am.

• Certificate III/IV in Hospitality OR any other equivalent qualifications/ Housekeeping Management is desirable.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Oversee the daily operations of the department, reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines in a highly pressured and rapidly changing environment.
• Strong understanding of rostering, productivity and budgeting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
• Strong understanding of WHS compliance.
• Time management and efficient work habits.
• You must also meet the legal requirements to work in Australia.
