Housekeeping Supervisor

Daydream Island Resort & Living Reef is located in the heart of Queensland’s Whitsunday Islands and the gateway to the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef.  With stunning views out to the impossibly blue waters of the Whitsundays, it is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the island. 

The island is one of the closest Whitsunday islands to the mainland (Airlie Beach) with spectacular 30-minute ferry ride to work each day.

We are seeking experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Daydream Island.

You will assist the Executive Housekeeper in achieving a high standard of cleanliness in keeping our guests’ rooms and public areas looking amazing for our guests.

About the job:

• Assist in the day-to-day supervision and motivation of our housekeeping team
• Daily allocation of rooms and duties.
• Assist with the induction and training of new team members.
• Ensure rooms are cleaned to a high standard and in line with Resort productivity.
• Ensure the efficient preparation, cleanliness, and presentation of guest rooms.
• Exceed guest expectations at every opportunity.

About you:   

• Well organised, with fantastic attentional to detail.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Team orientated with the ability to work under pressure.
• Is time efficient and works with speed and efficiency.
• Full availability to work a rotating roster.
