About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assist U Advisor to join our People & Culture team. The Assist U Advisor will work collaboratively with the Assist U Team, Managers, and Employees to provide ongoing and consistent responses and advice related to People policies, people processes, EBA interpretation, employee record compliance, and administration.

As an AssistU Advisor, you will:

  • Monitor the Assist U ticketing system, providing Tier 1 responses and timely advice, and support the centralised phone number.
  • Possess detailed knowledge of genU People Policies and provide coaching and education on ESS, MSS, and online information.
  • Seek additional information from SMEs or escalate issues to the appropriate team members and assist with data analysis of queries.
  • Set, monitor, and adhere to SLA response times, and provide strong coaching support to Managers in performance management.
  • Update and maintain consistent responses to common queries and assist with overflow tasks like contract generation and pre-employment checks.
  • Maintain excellent records, develop effective stakeholder relationships, identify potential improvements, and provide exceptional customer service.

About you:

Our ideal AssistU Advisor is an exceptional communicator who can easily develop and maintain rapport with a wide range of stakeholders and colleagues at all levels. You will be highly organised and demonstrate excellent time management skills.

To ensure your success in the role, ideally you will have strong customer service skills and ideally broad HR knowledge to allow you to support employees across the employee lifecycle.

This role is based from one of our Hobart offices, with the option of some days WFH.

We are also open to hearing from either students who are currently studying with a HR, Business or related discipline, or a recent graduate looking to kickstart their career. Part time hours will be considered.

Given the environment we work within, you will also need to meet the following essential requirements:

  • Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Worker Orientation Module or willingness to obtain.
